Well, I think I've made myself clear in that thread LOL
IMO a mature and effective forum is not one where moderators govern
speech - what can or cannot be said, or what tone is encouraged and
what is not. It is one where people acknowledge that it is OK to
agree to disagree.
Besides, you guys are moderators, not nannies! 
You will soon find it is impossible to get everyone to write the
preferred way.
